Boundary Creek Cabin is a 10km/45 min 4x4 drive from the homestead. If you don’t have a 4x4 wheel drive we can offer transfers ( $100 one way.)
Find a taste of kiwi culture with added comfort in Boundary Creek Cabin, tucked 10kms up the Spray Valley and surrounded by native birds, rare plants, and a waterfall creek.
Warm and inviting, the fully insulated and doubleglazed cabin has beech flooring, macrocarpa walls and a red cedar roof.
Boundary Creek is a perfect retreat where guests can be close to nature, watching for game from the veranda in the evenings.
Boundary Creek Cabin can sleep up to six in large timber bunks with comfortable mattresses. On warm days, sit outside at a picnic table with outdoor gas BBQ cooking. Inside, a sofa and a log burner fireplace make it a perfect retreat year round.
The cabin is equipped with a kitchenette with modern gas burners for cooking, and filtered water. Solar electric light is provided. Wooden steps lead down to the gas heated outdoor shower beside rock pools and moss-clad rocks. The cabin also offers the convenience (and bush luxury!) of a separate flush toilet.
